RAF Wilmslow - Recollections - Ron Kelsey

Jack Kelsey writes about his brother Ron Kelsey: "I am attaching a photograph of my brother Ron Kelsey and his very good friend Frank? Tyson, taken at RAF Wilmslow while they were doing their National Service Square Bashing.

As ever they promised to keep in touch but never did.Ron would like to try to contact his mate and he may get lucky, if his mate surfs the web. Ron went on to RAF Whildenwrath in Germany after Wilmslow to see out his 2 years  service in the RAF. His mate Frank was from BARROW in FURNESS and they got on together particularly well.

Ron is married and has two grown daughters and one grand daughter and lives in Rubery near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire and would love to hear from his friend Frank, we will keep our fingers crossed. Many thanks for your help.

My brother Ron Kelsey did his SQB at Wilmslow in November 1958. This is his is his "H" flight photo, he is 3rd from the right in the centre row. He did his N/S from 1958 to 1960 and was stationed at Wildenwrath, after Wilmslow, for the rest of his service; he was in the catering section and was demobbed from RAF Innesworth, Gloucestershire in Nov 1960."
