Pictures of Concorde G-BOAC on display in the Manchester Airport viewing park. A typical British summer's day! If you're travelling through the airport as a passenger you may well get a good view of Concorde on the right-hand side as you taxi out to the runway; or on the left hand side as you taxi in after landing.
A really heavy overcast day. There are five actual aircraft in this picture.
You don't need a special ticket to get this close. But remember to bring your 20mm lens!
And these are the fire handles...
If you want to look round Concorde yourself, there are tours. Originally these were limited and during the summer only but the airport keeps on adding more tours so they're now running most of the year with short & long options. They are publicised on the airport's web site at www.manchesterairport.co.uk - search for "Concorde".
